Kung Fu Fridays 3: It Takes 2 to Tango

It’s that time of year again. The days are long, the nights are warm, and the time seems to pass on by with the speed of a lazy river. After some unfortunate tomfoolery last summer, nothing serious but oh so distracting, this summer looks to be on track for normalcy. And with that in mind I wanted to do something more ambitious and perhaps, a bit sillier. Regular readers know that I write a (mostly) monthly column pairing craft beer and independent games. It’s honestly one of my favorite things to write and got me thinking, what if I took some awesome Martial Arts styled games and paired them with some awesome Martial Arts styled movies? Well fear not dear readers as the months of July and August will see the return of Kung Fu Fridays with Kung Fu Fridays 3: It Takes Two to Tango. The first entry will be landing this Friday in the form of Kabuki Quantum Fighter for the NES & Journey to the West – Conquering the Demons. So strap in friends as we spend the next bunch of Fridays together with a killer flick and a killer game.

Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan was once the most feared and respected luchador in the world until the "Great DDT Disaster of '85" where Dan unfortunately DDT'd his opponent so hard into the ground that he opened a gate to the underworld that let unholy things into this world. After that, Dan refused to wrestle anymore but he's found new life writing and talking about his favorite hobbies here at Geekade. He pens the weekly Why I Love Wrestling series, co-hosts The Stone Age Gamer Podcast, expertly pairs video games with beer, and much, much more. Dan is a personality that Geekade simply would not be the same without.
