Thank you for showing interest in Geekade’s annual charity event; The “Pain in the Ass-a-Thon”! The “Pain in the Ass-a-Thon” is an event where the Geekade staff and a few guests get together to play bad or difficult games for 24 hours to benefit colon cancer research. We have raised over $12,000 dollars for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance (CCA) and we certainly don’t plan to lose any steam this year. Due to the pandemic, we’ve had to adjust our idea of how we wanted this year’s event to go. It’s a big risk getting a large amount of people together in one area, even if it is for a good cause. This is where you can help us out! We are asking streamers such as yourself to join us for our marathon this year. We’d like to create a schedule where one stream plays a game for 2 hours and once their time is up, the raid the next person in the marathon schedule, making a “raid train”. You guys will not have to worry about making graphics or taking donations, we will provide both those. The below form is to get some basic information so that we can start creating a schedule and making plans to get this event going. The dates for the event will be August 22nd to August 23rd.
