WILW: Okada vs Omega

So here we are, two weeks into 2017, and just like last year Wrestle Kingdom has gone and produced the probable Match of the Year. For what it’s worth Dave Metlzer, of Wrestling Observer fame, has never given a match more than five stars. Except this one. The main event of Wrestle Kingdom 11 may not have just been the best match of 2017 when all is said and done, it may be the best match of all time. The story told in this match is just impeccable. These two are at the absolute top of their game. The crowd is played perfectly. The match is paced perfectly. It is simply that, perfect. I may not have loved the outcome from a fan perspective, my guy didn’t win, but damn if this isn’t amazing.
