WILW: Adam Cole finally in WWE!

Finally, after months of rumors, Adam Cole has made his WWE debut. And he made it in the best way possible, superkicking newly crowned NXT Champion Drew McIntyre. If you are a regular reader of this section of Geekade then you know that as part of my Takeover prediction post, I called Cole coming out with Fish and O’Reilly at the end of the show. (To be fair, I also thought Strong would be with them) Honestly, it was better than I expected. Just like with the breakup of #DIY, the production crew decided to pop the khyber at the bottom of the screen to indicate the show was over and everyone was safe. And the ReDragon showed up for the second time that night, the first coming after SAnitY became the new tag champs, distracted McIntyre and set the stage for Adam Cole to make his way through the crowd, to the ring, to deliver the superkick to Drew. It was an awesome moment to end an awesome show. Cole is an absolute superstar and will no doubt be huge in NXT/WWE. This ROH stable has the makings of something special. It’s going to be a hell of a ride. Check out the videos below for Cole’s debut and some great moments from his past. Follow me on twitter and Instagram, @geekadedan, and let me know what you thought of the debut and why you’re excited for Cole and the rest of the ROH stable in NXT.

Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan was once the most feared and respected luchador in the world until the "Great DDT Disaster of '85" where Dan unfortunately DDT'd his opponent so hard into the ground that he opened a gate to the underworld that let unholy things into this world. After that, Dan refused to wrestle anymore but he's found new life writing and talking about his favorite hobbies here at Geekade. He pens the weekly Why I Love Wrestling series, co-hosts The Stone Age Gamer Podcast, expertly pairs video games with beer, and much, much more. Dan is a personality that Geekade simply would not be the same without.
