Jonathan loves comic books and he loves coffee. Jonathan’s mother gave him his first taste of coffee at the tender age of 3 and it was love at first sip. He now needs to wheel around an IV drip of caffeine at all times or else he turns into a dark, monstrous creature that feeds on despair and makes babies cry. The local village-folk have kept him locked away ever since the “decaf catastrophe of ‘06.” When allowed out of his dungeon, he writes various articles for Geekade, including the monthly column, “Welcome to the D-List,” and records the "Mutant Musings" podcast with his geek-tastic girlfriend, Patti.

Okay Mutant Musing. I just read X-MEN : Grand Design and I saw quite a few retcons. They totally simplified the humans hatred & all but omitted Magda’s entire relationship to the high Evolutionary, by incorporating FOX-MEN cinema traits.
All in all, a perfect retelling but I still noticed they’re starting to organize the X-MEN comicbooks for Television. But why do they keep Putting Guido aka Strong Guy with Rahne Sinclair!?!
He Killed her Infant Son of the Prince of Wolves of Asgard!!! He killed him ton become a King of Hell, after he died from a Heart attack again!
That’s the last story arc of X-factor!
    PS, where’s Syrin??
PS, where’s Sean Cassidy? He was freed from the Apocalypse egg 2 versions ago in the Uncanny Avengers comics. Heck Shiro is More active in 616 too. & Sunfire & Havoc I believe we’re totally screwed over by the Avengers & X-MEN if you ask me. they’re wasting alot of potential. How long before sombody introduces Jubilation Lee, David Allien & Danielle Moonstar to Wanda Maximoff anyway. I thought No more Mutants was the best chance. ….I’m so excited about Disney acquirin the FOX-MEN Franchise and losing the restrictions so that, now they can finally use their own actual source material for research purposes! All I m can say is. Wait &see

You make many valid points! I hope that Guido’s murder of Rahne’s son is at least discussed in the upcoming New Mutants miniseries – that’s something too big to gloss over. And you just mentioned so many characters that I miss seeing regularly. Obviously, movie-right limitations were reflected in the comics, so perhaps since that is no longer the case, we won’t just see better movies, but better X-Men comics as well. So yes, wait and see!
