Jonathan Robert

Jonathan loves comic books and he loves coffee. Jonathan’s mother gave him his first taste of coffee at the tender age of 3 and it was love at first sip. He now needs to wheel around an IV drip of caffeine at all times or else he turns into a dark, monstrous creature that feeds on despair and makes babies cry. The local village-folk have kept him locked away ever since the “decaf catastrophe of ‘06.” When allowed out of his dungeon, he writes various articles for Geekade, including the monthly column, “Welcome to the D-List,” and records the "Mutant Musings" podcast with his geek-tastic girlfriend, Patti.

Discovering this podcast has been a much needed thrill, escape, and comfort in the increasingly dystopian landscape that is the year 2020. Jonathan’s passion for the X-Men shines like a warm beacon– a warm and foul-mouthed (but HILARIOUS) beacon of joy, sharing with we listeners his fervent and earnest love for these characters. His adoration is so powerful that he’s even convinced THIS listener to open his heart to the absurdity that is Glob Herman. Where is the Go Fund Me/Venmo link to keep this podcast accelerating?? Take. My. Money.
Each and every episode is filled with remarkable kindness, compassion & consideration, and obscenities to tickle your nether ear drums. I hope this brilliant content/coverage continues as we are finally having new X-Men books returning to our shelves!

Thank you for all the kind words!!!!! And there is no gofundme or venmo haha but thank you for offering. Also spoilers – we’ve ended the show the way we’ve been doing it. If you haven’t gotten to those episodes yet, you will, where we make the announcement. But we’re not done for good and there may be even more changes to the way we do things in the future because we’re not going anywhere!
