Show Notes

Jonathan Robert

Jonathan loves comic books and he loves coffee. Jonathan’s mother gave him his first taste of coffee at the tender age of 3 and it was love at first sip. He now needs to wheel around an IV drip of caffeine at all times or else he turns into a dark, monstrous creature that feeds on despair and makes babies cry. The local village-folk have kept him locked away ever since the “decaf catastrophe of ‘06.” When allowed out of his dungeon, he writes various articles for Geekade, including the monthly column, “Welcome to the D-List,” and records the "Mutant Musings" podcast with his geek-tastic girlfriend, Patti.

im with you brother. clowns are terrifying. the only one that isnt is this gay twink clown dude i saw on youtube but doesnt look like a traditional clown at all. his makeup is just a pinocchio face (rosey cheeks and nose) and has blue hair. his clothes are just 80s pop rock. he looks more like a normal non binary/non-gender conforming person to me. i was SHOCKED when he said “im a clown” lol if you know punchline from dc comics (google if you dont) thats exactly what he looks like. oh billy the clown 🙂
it reminds me of this episode of living single. obie has a fear of clowns that they touch on a few times (especially when his girlfriend sinclair becomes a clown on a kids tv show and he runs in terror from her lol) his point of trauma? when he was a kid he got launched into an elephant’s bum while at the circus via some clown act and it literally scared the shit out of the elephant. so there he is, 5 years old covered in elephant shit, with a sea of clowns clawing at him to “rescue” him from the parralel. the thought of a bunch of clowns surrounding me and pawing at me, even if it is to help? SHUDDER! HORROR! WHERE IS MY MOMMA!
