Geekade’s entering the Gungeon for PITAthon! This game’s earned quite a reputation as a very high quality, and high challenge game. Let’s check out the details!

Saturday, August 10th from 4pm-6pm
Who will be playing:
Dean and Glenn (from various Geekade endeavors like the Vest and Friends Podcast) will be trying their hands at this co-op action game. They’ll have to work together to work their way through as many floors of randomly generated punishment as they can.
Why it’s a pain in the ass:
Well, it’s a bullet hell roguelike. Randomly generated content means your loadout might be amazing, or woefully inadequate. The enemies could be a cakewalk, or brutally outnumber you. This game has no qualms about kicking your butt. Aside from practicing the basic mechanics, there’s no real way to prepare for something like this without a significant time investment, so Dean and Glenn will have their work cut out for them. We’ll see how far they can get.
