Good episode, even if the music was sort of hit or miss. (I never played Shadowgate, only Deja Vu.)

Here’s one request to (hopefully?) put on your calendars: River City Ransom. Not sure if you all have experience with the game, but it was excellent — and weird — with very good and surprisingly complex music for an NES game. Here’s a playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7mpWPKt4wk&index=1&list=PLxKTj3m_AK5IokmcMan764WhgFvkNxM-u

Also interestingly, someone found a special hidden password for the game… 27 years after it was released: https://kotaku.com/new-river-city-ransom-password-discovered-after-27-year-1787889753

Hey, thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed the episode.
I’m familiar with River City Ransom, though I’ve never spent extensive time with it. I like it, but I’m more of a Double Dragon guy. That said, the game does have a great soundtrack. It isn’t on our schedule anytime soon, but we did use a song from it back in episode 49, our first New Year’s Special. We were going through some of our favorite level 1 tunes, and that stage music from RCR is so freaking good! If you haven’t listened, I recommend going back to check that episode out. It was a fun one.
I’ll add RCR to the maybe pile in case we do a listener request episode soon. I guess now that we have listeners, that’s actually possible now!
      Thanks again for listening!
