“And the murderer is right here tonight. At this table.” Dashiell Hammett’s novel The Thin Man and the movie based on it feature one of the greatest murder mystery stories of all time. The layering of the story, the depth of the characters, all of it is done expertly. The acting though, is what makes this movie shine. Everyone is so good in this film. The dialogue is delivered with such style that it makes you wonder why all movies aren’t like this. The set design, a cocktail party on Christmas Eve in particular, is fabulous. It is a film filled with holiday spirit wrapped in clue connecting. Absolutely worth your time, and a worthy addition to our list.

There's not a problem he can't solve.....or at least punch and scream at until it doesn't exist anymore.
