Loved the podcast. I remember going to my local blockbuster for many years renting NES, snes, and later, PlayStation games. You could read the back of the cases and the typed out instructions.
Back then if they had a copy of your favorite game or movie you were lucky. Otherwise, you’d have to wait.
The worst was working on a rpg or super Metroid and saved your game, only to find some dingus deleted your save.
Or you would have the opposite where some person would get really far in a game and you’d play it and wonder what the hell lol.
Keep up the good work on the podcast you guys. ?
Oh man, RPG saves were the WORST! My neighbor was trying to play through Final Fantasy III when it came out and every week he’d have to start all over. He eventually gave up. Ahh, good times.
