Twelve Days of Questionable Xmas #3 – Trading Places

The 80’s produced a number of terrible, horrible, no good, very bad things. Movies though, comedies especially, were not one of them. For this entry into our look at questionable Christmas movies, we have Trading Places starring Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy. Akroyd is rich, Murphy is poor, and they trade places. There isn’t too much set up necessary with a film like this. You simply take two very funny people, along with very funny character actors and Jaime Lee Curtis’ nipples (they are on in this film), turn the cameras on and go. That’s not to say that there isn’t more going on in the film. Rather, it’s a film that can be watched multiple ways, including as a Christmas movie. I often forget how funny this one really is which is not a lead I suggest you take. Instead, give it a watch and buy OJ!

Dean DeFalco

Creator of Websites, editor of content, wearer of vests. This man is said to be "The Jack of All Trades".  Dean has his hands in most parts of the website one way or another. The original incarnation of Geekade, "G33k Life", was Dean's brainchild. While Dean can be found on a number of shows like when he was the former co-host of the Stone Age Gamer Podcast or the current host Vest and Friends or talking about video games on YouTube and Twitch, he is the guy behind the scenes making sure that the site does everything it's supposed to every one else can do their job. There's not a problem he can't solve.....or at least punch and scream at until it doesn't exist anymore.
